Steven Keith Branham

Mr. Steven Keith Branham, 69, died Saturday, July 26, 2025 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of the church.

Mr. Branham was born January 22, 1956 in Chester, SC and was the son of the late William Lee Branham and Lenore Orr Branham. He was a 1974 graduate of Chester High School and a 1976 graduate of Montreat College in Black Mountain, NC. He was owner and operator of Branham Construction and worked at The Olive Garden. Steve was an accomplished cook and enjoyed sharing his talent for cooking with others. He loved fishing, reading, music, and watching football games, especially those Clemson Tigers, “Go Tigers”. He was a cast member with Chester Little Theater., He also enjoyed his animals’ cats and dogs, camping, and nature walks where he loved to photograph nature. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church where he sang in the choir, was a youth group leader and an elder.

He is survived by his wife of over 38 years, Elizabeth Kidd “Beth” Branham; one daughter, Krysten B. Lawson (Jonathan) of Fort Mill, SC; one son, Mitchell K. Branham of Blackstock, SC; two grandchildren, Liam Lawson and Hadaleigh Branham and numerous cousins; special friends, John and Mary Keith of Rock Hill, SC and Jean Moore of Chester, SC.
