Shirley May Beeman Gaines

Mrs. Shirley May Beeman Gaines, 88, died Friday, May 19, 2023. A memorial service will be held 5:00 PM, Sunday, June 11, 2023 at First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. John Harris officiating. Mrs. Gaines was born October 24, 1934 in Buffalo, New York and was a daughter of the late Robert C. Beeman and Catherine Lummel Beeman. She was retired from the textile industry. Shirley had a sense of humor and loved strawberry milkshakes. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and formally taught the Mothers Class in Sunday School. Shirley loved her Lord and supported and loved her pastors. She is survived by her friends and caretakers, Todd and Jutanna Love of Chester; as well as many other friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine Wasmuth; and a former caretaker and special friend, Arthur Ellis.
