Sherry Gail Kinsey Hendrix

Mrs. Sherry Gail Kinsey Hendrix, 66, died Tuesday, June 6, 2023. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Fountain of Life Church of God with Rev. John Flanders officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM also Saturday at Fountain of Life Church of God. Mrs. Hendrix was born June 25, 1956 in Chester, SC and was the daughter of the late Wilfred Franklin Kinsey and Marion Louise Mobley Kinsey. She was a graduate of Chester High School and was retired from Advanced Auto Parts as a parts pro. Gail enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping as some of her favorite pastimes. She loved her family and her grandchildren. Mrs. Hendrix was a member of Fountain of Life Church of God where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. In addition to her parents, Gail is preceded in death by her step mother, Linda Kinsey. She is survived by her husband of over 30 years Eddie Hendrix; two sons, Shaun Bates (Jamie) of Edgemoor, SC and Michael Bates (Tricia) of Chester, SC; one step-son, Edward Hendrix "Hap", Jr. and one step daughter, Amanda Melton both of Chester, SC; four grandchildren, Kayla, Taylor, Troy and Jacob; one great-grandson John; one brother, Neil Kinsey (Tammy) of Chester, SC.
