Scott Andrew Sweet

Chester, SC?. Mr. Scott Andrew Sweet, age 38 of 3 Charlotte Street, York, died Friday, June 5th. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Concord Presbyterian Church, Blackstock, SC conducted by Rev. Peter Rambo, Rev. Dennis Ayers, Rev. Joseph Beale, and Rev. Richard Davis. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Sweet was born in Gainesville, Florida September 19, 1970 a son of George Montgomery Sweet, Sr. and Janie Kellams Sweet. He was a graduate of Lewisville High School and attended Winthrop College where he lettered in track. He was U. S. Navy Veteran having served in Somalia and Desert Storm and was a devoted member of Grace Covenant Church of God. Surviving are to his parents, George Montgomery Sweet, Sr. and Janie Kellams Sweet of Chester, one brother, George M. Sweet, Jr. of Greenville, SC and one sister, Amanda Catherine Sweet of Alexander, NC. The family will receiver friends from 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM Monday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester.
