Chester Mr. Scott Lee Jeanes, 35, died Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at his home.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 9, 2014, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. John Porter officiating.Interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 8, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mr. Jeanes was born January 18, 1979 in Chester, SC and was a son of Dennis Lee Jeanes and Darlene McKee Bagley.He was a graduate of Chester High School and York Technical College.Mr. Jeanes was a combat veteran with the S.C. National Guard and U.S. Army having served during Operation Enduring Freedom.He was employed by Chemtrade as an operator and enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson and spending time with his family. He is survived by his parents, Dennis L. “Dink” and Anita Jeanes of Chester;his mother, Darlene M. Bagley of Chester; two sisters, Beckie Varnadore (Michael) and Tracy Thompson both of Chester; two nieces, Sydni Campbell and Sophia Copeland and four nephews, Ethan and Ayden Varnadore, Seth Thompson, and David Campbell, IIIall of Chester; and grandparents, Yvonne and David McAbee and Shirley Walker all of Chester.
