Satira Rose Smith

CHESTER:Mrs. Satira Rose Trawick Smith, 68, of 119 Park Drive died Sunday, July 12, 2009 at her residence. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, July 17, 2009 at Barron Funeral Home with Reverend Ed Ayers officiating. A native of Pike County Gerogia, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late William H. Trawick and Nell Alexander Trawick . She was a graduate of Pike County High School and Mercer College, Macon, GA and Columbus College in Columbus, GA. She was a member of Purity Presbyterian Church and was retired as a Registered Nurse. Mrs. Smith was an avid reader and a published author and artist. Surviving is her Husband, Jim Smith, two sons, Mitch Patterson of Savannah, GA and Mike Patterson of Myrtle Beach, SC, three sisters, June Watts of Zebulon, GA, Teri Hassing of Minneapolis, MN, andDiane Pryor of Bend, OR, one nephew and two nieces. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon, July, 17, 2009 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Barron Funeral Home.
