Chester Mrs. Sarah Margaret Plyler Huey, died Friday, February 18, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Chester A.R.P. Church with Rev. Clint Davis and Dr. Dwight Pearson officiating.The interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. Born in Lancaster, SC, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Plyler and Harriet Louise Sistare Plyler. She was a graduate of Chester High School and Winthrop College and attended Sherwood School of Music in Chicago, IL.Asa member of Chester A.R.P. Church,Mrs. Huey served in many capacities such as organist, choir director and a member of the Jake Colvin Sunday School Class and as an office volunteer for the church.She was a member of the Bridge Club and Pilot Club and also was an Elementary Music Teacherfor Chester County School District and taught music privately. She is survived by one sister, Louise Plyler Gaultand her husband Joe of Spartanburg, SC; one step-son; Robert F. Huey, Jr. of Currituck, NC; one step-daughter, Dorothy ?Dottie?
