Chester Mrs. Sarah Louise Loving Pate, 88, died Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Chester Regional Nursing Center.A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Evergreen Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, June 4, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mrs. Pate was born February 16, 1929 in Jonesville, SC and was a daughter of the late James Martin Loving and Sarah Millwood Loving.She was a graduate of Chester High School and retired from Springs Industries.Mrs. Pate was a charter member of First Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by one son, Kenneth L. Pate (Brenda) of Chester; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; her niece, Joyce Lucas (Marvin) and her family of Lexington; and a daughter-in-law, Diane Pate of Chester.Mrs. Pate was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Pate and a son, Rick Pate.
