Chester Ms. Sarah Lewis Taylor Cassels, 92, died Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Chester Regional Nursing Center.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at Cornwell Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tim Foster officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday at Cornwell Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Cassels was born September 26, 1924 in Chester County, SC and was a daughter of the late Tyre Lucius Taylor and Sarah Lewis Boney Taylor.She was a graduate of Chester High School and was a retired secretary having worked with Dr. Pavese and Dr. Jacobs.Ms. Cassels was a member of Cornwell Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School, was a deacon and served as treasurer for many years.Sarah enjoyed her personal ministry of sending greeting cards to her many friends and family. She is survived by one brother, John R. Taylor of Blackstock; three nieces, Jackie Foster, Miriam Boyd and Janice Dahnke; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
