Chester Mrs. Sarah Pauline Fleming Jones, 74, died Monday, November 22, 2021, at Piedmont Medical Center.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Orrs Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Wightman, Rev. Ted Hodges and Rev. Randall Runion officiating.Interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday at Orrs Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones was born December 20, 1946 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late James Alvin Fleming, Sr. and Kathryn Orr Fleming.She was a graduate of Chester High School and retired from Spring Industries after more than 40 years of service.She was a member of Orrs Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, served on the Benevolence Committee and was a part of the Shut-In Ministry. She is survived by her husband of over 53 years, William B. “Beaty” Jones; one daughter, Chasity Jones Douglass (Dan) of Chester; two grandchildren, Daniel Henry Douglass, IIII and Sarah Kathryn Douglass both of Chester; one brother, James Alvin Fleming, Jr. (Virginia) of Bennettsville; one niece, Wanda Davis of Bennettsville; three nephews, James A. “Buzzy” Fleming of Charleston, Eric Fleming (Teresa) of Columbia and Johnny Fleming (Brenda) of Chester.Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Eugene Fleming.
