CHESTER: Sara Elizabeth Robinson Pearson, 71, died Friday, October 17, 2014 at her home.The funeral will be 11:00 AM Monday, October 20, 2014 at Barron Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Wheeler officiating.The interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Barron Funeral Home and other times at the home, 602 Summersby Street, Chester. Born February 26, 1943 in York County, SC, Mrs. Pearson was a daughter of the late James I. Robinson, Sr. and Essie Adkins Robinson.She was a graduate of York High School and retired from the Katherine Plant of Springs Industries in Chester.She was of the Methodist faith. She is survived by her husband of over fifty-one years, Donald E. “Buddy” Pearson; two daughters, Rhonda “Squeaky” P. Ledbetter and Wanda P. Brown both of Chester; two sons, Donnie Pearson (Meredith) and John Pearson (Sonya) both of Chester; ten grandchildren, Chuckie, Drew, Marlee, Jessica, Taylor, Joey, Rebecca, Will, Dalton and Jonathon; seven great grandchildren, Robbie, Quinton, Kabri, Jace, Brayson, Levi and Brennan; four brothers, Jimmy Robinson, Ricky Robinson and Glenn Robinson all of Rock Hill, SC and Douglas Robinson of Aynor, SC; four sisters, JoAnn Jones and Betty Beam and Cecelia Alexander all of Rock Hill, SC and Gail Gregory of Chester.
