Chester Mrs. Sara Frances Hall Cook, 83, died Monday, January 3, 2022, at Ridgeway Manor.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Zion Cemetery with Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating.The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service. Mrs. Cook was born June 6, 1938 in Chester County, SC and was a daughter of the late Jennings McKinley Hall and Elsie Beckham Hall.She was a graduate of Chester High School and retired from Johnson Sportswear.She was a member of First Baptist Church Lowry’s.Sara loved her family and was a caretaker for her mother. She is survived by one son, Michael Cook (Cindy) of Chester; two grandchildren, Alyssa Welch (Henry) of Chester and Megan Furr (fiancé, Mark) of Rock Hill; four great grandchildren, Khloe Furr and Charlotte Culp of Rock Hill and Mason Welch and Noah Welch of Chester; a sister, Peggy Wyatt (David) of Spartanburg; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Glenn Cook and a brother, Ronald M. Hall.
