Sanford Avery Brown

Chester Mr. Sanford Avery Brown, 63, died Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at MUSC Florence. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Brown was born July 2, 1957 in York County, SC and was a son of the late John Avery Brown and Margaret Parker Brown. He attended the schools of York County and was employed for many years with Sonoco. Avery was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing and working in the garden, he loved the outdoors. Mr. Brown was a member of Woodward Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Teresa Martin Brown; two sons, Michael Brown of Chester, SC and Steven Brown of Rock Hill, SC; one daughter, Lisa Duggins (Michael) of Fort Lawn, SC; four grandchildren, Adora Cox (Jeffery) of Richburg, SC, Paul Michael Duggings, Leah Duggins both of Fort Lawn, SC and Connor Brown of Big Flats, NY; two sisters, Norma Hunter (Ronnie) of Morganton, NC and Traci Allen of Jesup, GA; one nephew, Lee Hunter (Lyl) of Morganton, NC.
