PELION, SC Mrs. Sandra Cheryl Bigham Barrs, 56, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Agape Hospice. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Barrs Family Cemetery in Pelion, SC with Rev Cook Addy officiating . The family will receive friends at the home immediately following the service. Mrs. Barrs was born July 27, 1958 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of Betty Proctor Bigham and the late W. E. Bigham.She was a graduate of Chester High School and attended Winthrop College.Mrs. Barrs retired from Lexington School District One, as a Special Education Secretary.She was the former owner of Wayne’s Gas and Grocery and a notary. She is survived by her husband of over 28 years, Wayne Barrs; two sons, Chris Barrsand Stuart Barrs, both of Pelion, SC; two daughters, Courtney Barrs of Greensboro, NC, and Megan Dooley (Tony) of White Knoll, SC; one granddaughter, Rylan Christ of Greensboro, NC; one brother, Robert Bigham (Kathy) of Lexington, SC; and her mother, Betty P. Bigham of Lexington, SC.She was preceded in death by one brother, William E.
