Chester, SC: Mr. Samuel Roger Price, 70, died Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Agape Senior in Rock Hill, SC.The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating.The interment will be at New Hope United Methodist Church.The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Barron Funeral Home. Born August 9, 1945 in Chester, SC Mr. Price was a son of the late Samuel Alexander Price and Ruby Jean Rash Price.He was a graduate of Chester High School and was a veteran of the US Army having served during Vietnam.Mr. Price was a retired supervisor from Superior Essex and the widower of Alma Frances Yarborough Price. He is survived by a son, Shelby Price (Amanda) of Chester; one daughter, Alexa Jacobs (Kevin) of Chester; nine grandchildren; step-son, John Teague of Chester; step-daughter, Helen Owens of Rock Hill; one brother, Bobby Price of Chester; one sister Shirley Kay Barber of Chester and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents and his wife he was preceded in death by a brother, Nicky Price.
