Chester, SC:Sal Steven Carlton, 20, died Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, SC. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Barron Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barron Funeral Home.Interment will be private. Sal was bornJuly 17, 1990 in Queens, NY, a son of Steven Craig Carlton and Anita Faye Sullivan Carlton. He was a graduate of Chester High School, an accomplished artist and sculptor and a certified brick mason. Sal is survived by his parents, Steven and Anita Carlton; four sisters, Nichole Jordan and her husband Robert, Danielle Goings and her husband Walter, Jessica Carlton and Rachael Carlton all of Chester, SC; one brother, James Carlton of Chester, SC; maternal grandparents, Michael and Faye Sullivan of Chester, SC; paternal grandmother, Linda High of Catawba, SC; paternal great-grandfather, Francis Craig of Chester, SC; two nieces, Serenity Halsey and Heayden Goings; one nephew, Christian Goings and two special friends with whom he was reared, Bobby Stalnaker and Jeffrey Goings all of Chester, SC.
