Ruth Genell Gregory

Chester Ruth Genell Gregory, 86, died Thursday, October 3, 2013, at her home.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 5, at 2:00 PM at Wilksburg Baptist Church with Rev. Elton Hunter and Rev. Sean Sellars officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday at Wilksburg Baptist Church. Ms. Gregory was born August 22, 1927 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late Hughes Gregory, Sr. and Mamie Love Gregory.She attended the schools of Chester County, was a homemaker, and a member of Wilksburg Baptist Church. She is survived by her niece, Joyce Perry of Chester with whom she made her home and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.She was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
