Ruth Addison Cudd

Chester Ruth Ann Addison Cudd, 75, died Friday, December 28, 2012 at Providence Hospital in Columbia. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 31, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Chester with Reverend Clay Waldrip and Dr. Dwight Pearson officiating. The interment will be held in Old Purity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Monday at the Frist Baptist Church. Born November 15, 1937 in Heath Springs, South Carolina, Mrs. Cudd was a Daughter of the late Ed Addison and Edna Cauthen Addison. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School class of 1957 and was formerly employed at Chester Credit Bureau and Schlegel Industries. Mrs. Cudd was co-owner of Cudd Heating and Air and a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, Ted Gene Cudd, Sr. of the home; a son, Gene Cudd of Chester; a daughter, Jody C. Craig of Chester; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Addison of Spartanburg, SC and James Addison of Charlotte, NC; a sister Doris Addison of Rock Hill, SC.
