Mrs. Ruby Lynn Wright Delleney, 90, of Chester died on Monday,January 30, 2017 at the Chester Regional Nursing Center. A funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, February 2, 2017 atChester Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Chester with Rev. Clint Davis, the church pastor, officiating.The family of Mrs. Delleney will receive visitors Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the church from 12:00 Noon to 1:45 pm prior to the service.Burial will follow the service at 4:00 pm Thursday, at the Quaker Cemetery, 713 Meeting Street,Camden, SC. Born on September 1, 1926 in Chester, South Carolina, Mrs. Delleney was the daughter of the late Clayton Ervin Wright and Wrennie Hanna Wright.She was a graduate of Chester Senior High School and a faithful member of Chester Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and a wonderful Homemaker. Ruby is survived by her son, Representative Francis Gregory “Greg” Delleney, Jr. and his wife, Becky, and by her daughter, Hanna Delleney Kelsey and her husband, Lamar. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Caroline Caldwell Delleney, Lamar Hyatte Kelsey, IV, Francis Gregory Delleney, III and Harriet Lynn Kelsey; one great grandchild, Adalyn Grace Delleney and one brother, Earle Rogers Wright of Cerritos, California. Mrs. Delleney was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Francis Gregory Delleney and their infant daughter, Joye Delleney,by her brother, John Ervin Wright of Chester and her sister, Doris Wright Little of Forestvile, Maryland.
