Rosemarie Georg Young

Mrs. Rosemarie Georg Young, 79, died Monday, May 22, 2023; a memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the home of her nephew Jimmy Young, 1678 Great Falls Highway, Blackstock, SC 29014. Mrs. Young was born December 2, 1943 and was a daughter of the late Friedilene Georg. She attended school in her home country Germany. She was retired from Zenith Engraving and enjoyed the YMCA and shopping trips to the beach, working in her flowerbeds, the river, and the SC Gamecocks. She is survived by two children, Thomas Harold Young of Chester, SC and Michael Anthony Young of Chester, SC; sister-in-law, Barbara Young of Chester, SC and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Harold “Billy” Young.
