Ronnie Ronell Wood Sr.

Ronnie R. Wood Sr., 75, affectionately known as “Cat Daddy” passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026, at his home in McConnells, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 20 at 1172 Simple Farm Rd; Chester, SC 29706 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.

He was born on July 14, 1950, in Ninety-Six, SC, son of the late William Glen and Allie Alton Wood. He was a retired Welder.

Ronnie had a true love for hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and will be deeply missed for his love of life and enjoyed it on his own terms and treasured the time he spent with friends and family. He never met a stranger.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Ricky Wood, Robert Wood, Jimmy Wood, Rex Reece, George Reece, and his sister Kathy Reece McCulley.

Ronnie is survived by his daughters Lisa Wolfe (James) of Roebuck, SC; Ronda Brown (Milton) of Greenwood, SC; Chrissy Steen (Chase) of Rock Hill, SC, son Ronnie Wood, Jr. of McConnells, SC; six grandchildren Michael Brown, Milton Brown Jr. (Reed), Joshua Julian (Kaitlyn), Mason Steen, Maddox Steen and Nathan Wood; four great grandchildren Myla Julian, Landon Julian, Asher Julian and Holden Brown; one brother Randy Reece of Greenwood; sisters, Brenda McIntosh of Greenwood, Tammie Reece Burnett of FL, Sherrie Reece Rogaczewski of Ware Shoals and Beverly Reece Brooks of Greenwood; and several nieces and nephews.
