Ronnie Alvin Hawkins

Blackstock Mr. Ronnie Alvin Hawkins, 65, died Saturday, January 22, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. Mr. Hawkins was born September 9, 1956 in Union, SC and was a son of Ada Rovella Hawkins. He was a graduate of Chester High School and was owner operator of Balls Shoe Shop. Ronnie enjoyed fishing and trips to the mountains. He enjoyed the visits of his friends as they came into the shoe shop and they would discuss most any topic. He is survived by his mother Ada Hawkins Royer of Chester, SC; three sisters, Marlene Crosby (Byron) of Chester, SC, Ann Hawkins of Jacksonville, FL and Janie H. Mahaffey (Robert) of Chester, SC and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by a brother, Mark S. Hawkins.
