Ronald Eugene "Woo-Woo" Wages

Chester Mr. Ronald Eugene “Woo-Woo” Wages, 68, died Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday March 18, 2023 at Lando Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Lando Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, March 18 also at Lando Baptist Church. Mr. Wages was born February 6, 1955 in Chester, SC and was the son of the late Henry Eugene Wages and Nena McKinney Wages. He was a graduate of Lewisville High School, worked for many years at Zenith Engraving and was retired from SCDOT as a member of the sign crew. He was a member of Masonic Lodge # 89. Woo-Woo was a friend to all and he never met a stranger. Mr. Wages was a member of Lando Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Ann McDaniel Wages; twin daughters, Hope and Faith Wages of Chester, SC; sisters, Rachel Simpson of Chester, SC and Donna Wages Polk of Columbia, SC; niece, Brandi Bell of Chester, SC; nephew, Brandon Polk (Staci) of Rock Hill, SC; two great nephews, Lee Gibby (Christine) of Buffalo, SC and Graham Polk of Rock Hill, SC ; two great nieces, Madison Hamilton and Emilee Hamilton both of Hickory Grove, SC and numerous cousins.
