Ronald Patrick Petroviak

Mr. Ronald Patrick Petroviak, 58, passed away at his home in Chester, SC , May 26,2026. A celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St. Chester, SC. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM also on Wednesday, June 3 at Barron Funeral Home.

Ron was born June 29, 1967 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was the son of the late Raymond and Eunice Petroviak. He was a graduate of Whitnall High School in Hales Corner, Wi. He served 4 years in the US Army 101st AVN Div. Ron was an amazing person and enjoyed making people laugh and he was always willing to teach and share his unusual knowledge on everything. Ron leaves behind many friends in Wisconsin and South Carolina. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Kristen Hempel Petroviak; his children, Ronald, Kevin and Alisha Petroviak; stepchildren, Chad and Ryan Rodriguez; his sisters, Deb, Kim, Michelle and Cheryl ; sixteen nieces and nephews and he was a special uncle to Malachi and Irene Soto and his father-in-law James Hempel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Raymond (Bink) Petroviak and is mother-in-law Marlene Hempel.
