Ronald Wayne Dahnke

Blackstock Mr. Ronald Wayne Dahnke, 91, died Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Chester County Nursing Center. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Blackstock First Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Foster and Rev. Stacy Hinson officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service and other times at the home. Mr. Dahnke was born March 24, 1930 in Atalissa, Iowa and was a son of the late Fredrick Henry Dahnke and Carrie Mae Henry Dahnke. He was a graduate of the schools of Iowa and was former owner operator of R & J Metal Fabricators of Rock Hill and was also a former security guard with Chester Regional Medical Center. Mr. Dahnke was a veteran of the US Navy having served during the Korean War. He was a member of Blackstock First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of over 69 years, Sara Belle Hood Dahnke; one son Jeffrey Wayne Dahnke (Janice) of Blackstock, SC; one daughter, Iris Cassels of Columbia, SC; one grandson, Joshua Carl Dahnke ( Elizabeth) of Blackstock, SC; two great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Dahnke and Brittany Allred both of Blackstock, SC; several nieces and nephews.
