Ronald James Clark, Sr.

Blackstock Mr. Ronald James (Ronnie) Clark, Sr. 67, died Monday July 11, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Compton officiating. Interment will follow at Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday July 16, at Barron Funeral Home. Mr. Clark was born March 15, 1955 in Lancaster, SC and was the son of the late Jessie Thomas Clark and Hazel Gaston Clark. He attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Springs Industries and was the owner operator of R.J.’s. R.J. enjoyed unique items such as his “rat rod” and his limo and hearse. He loved collecting and tinkering with unique automobiles. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren. His is survived by his ex-wife, Tammy Clark of Blackstock, SC; three daughters, Amy Clark Sims of Keystone Heights, FL, Brittany Clark Grant (Ben) of Chester, SC and Kayla Clark Case (Stephen) of Blackstock, SC; one son, Ronald “Lil Ronnie” Clark of Keystone Heights, FL., eleven grandchildren, Katelyn, Henry, Hunter, Logan, Maddie, Caleb, Destiny, Devon , Dillion, Tiffany and Nathan; two great-granddaughters; one sister, Debbie Compton (Ken) of Blackstock, SC; three brothers, his twin, Donnie Clark of Chester, SC, Bud Clark (Sue) of Chester, SC and Skip Clark (Lisa) of Murrells Inlet, SC. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Shine Clark. Memorials may be made to Leeds Baptist Church, 3231 Leeds Rd, Carlisle, SC 29031.
