Roger Keith Ferrell

Mr. Roger Keith Ferrell, 73, died Saturday, November 1, 2025. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Tabernacle Ministries with Rev. Kenneth Compton and Rev. David Nalley officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Barron Funeral Home and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Tabernacle Ministries on Thursday, November 6 before the service.

Mr. Ferrell was born November 8, 1951 in Chester, SC and was the son of the late Lawrence E. Ferrell and Frances Elizabeth Hendrix. He was a 1971 graduate of Chester High School and was a member of the SCANG for over six years. Roger worked with Chester Sportswear and F Schumacher for several years. He was currently employed with Wade Security as a guard at IKO.  He was an accomplished cook, and he was especially known for his ribs. Roger loved spending time with his family and enjoyed gardening and making things grow. He had a great work ethic. He attended First Baptist Church, Lowrys.

He is survived by his wife of over 47 years Cheryl Feaster Ferrell; three children, Casey F. Roof, Ashley F. Polk (Kevin) and Nina F. Crouch (Michael) all of Chester, SC; six grandchildren, Haley, Devin, Ava and Ryan Polk, Paisley and Finley Crouch; one brother, Robert D. Reynolds (Melissa) of Chester, SC; stepfather, Freddie J. “Honey-Pie” Reynolds whom in Roger's eyes was his father as well; nephew, Gene Ferrell (Linda) nieces, M’Lynn Reynolds and Jessica Reynolds.
