Chester: Mrs. Roberta Brown Rape, 86, died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Saint Mark?s Episcopal Church, Chester, SC with The Reverend Gordon Hamilton and Reverend Clint Davis officiating.Interment will be held in Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, November 5, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barron Funeral Home. Born in Covington, GA on March 28, 1924, Mrs. Rape was a daughter of the late Robert Brown and Geneva Mattox Brown. She was a graduate of Chester High School, a member of Saint Mark?s Episcopal Church and was retired from Borden?s as a line worker. Mrs. Rape is survived by her husband, James Rape; one daughter, Bonnie Rape Orr and her husband Leslie of Chester, SC; two grandchildren, Jeff Orr of Chester, SC and Brooke Cooper and her husband Mike of Fort Mill, SC; five great-grandchildren, Chris Orr and fiance? Ashley and Josh Orr all of Chester, SC and Maverick Orr, Lizzie Orr and Emma Cooper all of Fort Mill, SC and two great-great-grandchildren, Keely and Ty Orr both of Chester, SC. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Annie Helms and Elizabeth Darnell and a grandson, Todd Orr.
