Fort Lawn, SC: Robert James “Runt” Langley, 77 died Wednesday June 10, 2020 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, SC. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Langley was born in York County, SC on August 14, 1942 and was a son of the late William James Langley and Eula Mae Wolfe Langley. He was a graduate of Chester High School and USC-Lancaster. Mr. Langley was retired from Springs Industries as Special Project Manager. He was a member of Bassmasters and was a skilled archer and an accomplished woodworker. “Runt” was a man of many talents. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Michael Langley and two brothers. Mr. Langley is survived by his wife of sixty years, Doris Lucas Langley; a daughter. Denise Langley LeDuc (Gene) of Fort Lawn, SC; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two sisters, Chris Clayton and Cricket Grant (Bill) all of Chester, SC and numerous nieces and nephews.
