CHESTER Mr. Robert Nicholas "Bobby" Colvin, Sr, 73, of 647 Willa Court died Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Springs Memorial Hospital, Lancaster, SC. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 31st at Chester Memorial Gardens with Reverend Clay Waldrip officiating. Born July 19, 1935 in Chester, SC, Mr. Colvin was a son of the late John Guy Colvin and Janie O?Donnell Colvin. He was a graduate of Chester High School and York Technical College, a member of Chester First Baptist Church and retired from B & H Foods as plant manager.He was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife Peggy Miller Colvin; two daughters, Debra Wagers and her husband James of Blackstock, SC and Rebecca Welsh and her husband Steve of Walhalla, SC; one son, Nick Colvin and his wife Kim of Chester, SC; nine grandchildren and one brother, Howard ?Bubba? Colvin of Chester, SC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 7:30 p.m. Monday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester, SC.
