Robert David Butler

Knoxville, TN Mr. Robert David Butler, 64, died Monday, February 19, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 23, 2018, at Woodwood BaptistChurch with Rev. Keith Hinson officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, 4290 Old York Road, Rock Hill, SC . Mr. Butler was born February 25, 1953 in York County, SC and was a son of the late Robert Henry Butler and Edith Ellen Sumner Richards. He was a graduate of York County Schools andwas a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam. Mr. Butler was retired as a self-employed contractor with the Department of Energy. He was a member of Kerbela Shrine Temple and their motorcycle unit. Mr. Butler was also a Master Mason and an avid motorcyclist. Mr. Butler is survived by four sons, Andrew David Butler (Lucinda) of Wyomissing ,PA, William Wylie Butler (Christi) of Chester, Robert Nathaniel Butler and Nicholas David Butler both of Knoxville, TN; five grandchildren Ainsley, Bryce, Taylor ,Lexi, and HarleighButler. He was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Allen Butler and a sister, Martha Butler Blackburn. Memorialsmay be made toKerbela Shrine Temple, 315 Mimosa Ave., Knoxville, TN 37920.
