Chester Mr. Robert Wylie Bennett, 93, died Friday, March 22, 2013, at Chester Regional Nursing Center.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Barron Funeral Homewith Rev. Clint Davis and Rev. Dwight Pearson officiating. Mr. Bennett was born December 10, 1919 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late John Lawrence Bennett and Daisy Robinson Bennett.He was a graduate of Chester High School, retired from South State Chevrolet as a parts manager, and a member of Chester A.R.P. Church. He is survived by his wife, Maurice Barber Bennett; one daughter, Donna Bennett Jordan and her husband Eddy of Chester; three grandchildren, Robert Jordan and wife Amanda, Dawn Mackey and husband Allen, and Kyle Jordan and wife Katie all of Chester; four great-grandchildren, Jessica Lee, Jonah Lee, Ava Jordan, and Isaiah Jordan all of Chester; and one sister, Dorothy Bennett Price of Chester.
