Robbie Gwen Atkinson Hammond

Robbie Gwen Atkinson Hammond, 70, died Friday, March 26, 2021 at PrismaHealth Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Hammond was born in Chester, SC on February 27, 1951 and was a daughter of the late Robert Marion Atkinson and Frances Gwin Atkinson. She was a graduate of Chester High School and worked in Health Care most of her life having worked with Dr. Malcolm Marion and Dr. Sam Stone. Most recently she worked with Willridge Logging helping out in the office. Gwen grew up in Armenia United Methodist Church and later became a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Rock Hill. In addition to her parents, Gwen is preceded in death by a daughter Natalie Erin Hammond.She is survived her husband,Holroyd C. Hammond; three children, Holly Ann Fisk (Byron) of York, SC,Robin Lea Hammond of Charleston, SC and Cliff Hammond (Millie) of Highland, SC; three grandchildren, Mason, Haley and Ridge; two great-grandchildrenBeau and Colt; three sisters, Kay Atkinson Gaddy (Harold) of St. George, SC, Beth Wilson (Frankie) of Boiling Springs, SC and Lisa Madden of Greer, SC and numerous nieces and nephews.
