Ricky Dale Aldridge

Ricky Dale Aldridge, 67, died Saturday, November 22, 2025, at MUSC Health Chester Nursing Center.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 28, 2025, at Word & Spirit The Experience with Bishop David Levister officiating.  Interment will be private.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church and other times at the home of Banks and Kathy Drennan.

Ricky was born February 27, 1958 in Chester County, SC and was a son of the late Jesse Clarence Aldridge and Pearl Brown Aldridge.  He attended the schools of York County, SC.  Ricky was dependent on the care of others.  He grew up in Lando and loved people especially pretty girls.  Ricky was interested in classic cars.  He was an inspiration to many.

He is survived by two sisters, Terri Lowe (Joe) and Kathy Drennan (Banks) both of Richburg, SC; a brother, Walter Aldridge of TN; numerous nieces and nephews; great and great-great nieces and nephews; and a brother-in-law, Bobby Compton of Chester, SC.  In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie Aldridge and Jesse Aldridge; and two sisters, Judy Little and Janice Compton.
