Chester Mr. Richard Wayne Reeves, 65, died Friday, May 8, 2015, at Chester Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Waldrip officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Barron Funeral Home. Mr. Reeves was born June 29, 1949 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Ray Crawford Reeves and Edith Kinsey Reeves.He was a graduate of the schools of Chester County and retired from Springs Industries. He was a veteran ofthe U. S. Air Force having served during Vietnam. Mr. Reeves was a member of First Baptist Church of Chester.He had a passion for cooking and sharing his talent with others.He also was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife of over 47 years, Gail Hinson Reeves; two sons, Michael Wayne Reeves (Melissa) of Goose Creek, SC, and Brian Christopher Reeves (Michelle) of Fort Mill, SC; three granddaughters, Katie Marie Reeves, Emily Grace Reeves both of Goose Creek, SC, and Sabrina Lathan Reeves of Fort Mill, SC; one sister, Cynthia “Sissy” Crouch (Doc) of Chester, SC; and one brother, Raymond F.
