Richard Earl "Rick" Railey

Richard Earl "Rick" Railey, 55 died Friday October 31,2025 at Prisma Health Richland. A Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 3,2025 at First Baptist Church, Chester with Reverend Michael Shaffer officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday November 2,2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Barron Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Chester Memorial Gardens.

Rick was born in Chester, SC on September 14,1970 and was a son of Teresa Cook Frazer and the late Herbert Eugene Railey. He was a graduate of Chester High School and attended York Tech. Rick was the Owner/Operator of Keith's Alignment. He was a member of Purity Presbyterian Church. Rick was an accomplished race car driver and was the proud founder of Railey Racing. He built his own cars with his father and also helped others build their cars. He also enjoyed fishing and participated in and won many tournaments.

Rick is survived by his wife of over 16 years, Julie Heinlein Railey, his mother and step-father, Teresa and John Frazer of Oak Island, NC; his sister, Angela Ferrier (Jimmy) of Tucson, AZ; Mother-in-Law, Flora Heinlein of Chester, SC; Sister's-in-law, Robin Rosa (Scott) of Anderson, SC and Renee King (Bucky) of Rock Hill, SC; three nieces, Allison Yenawine (Alec) of Denver, CO, Ashley King of Anderson, SC and Maggie Grace King of Rock Hill, SC; nephew, Brice Rosa of Denver, CO and his Uncle and Aunt, Hennis and Mary Railey of Chester, SC.
