Chester Mr. Richard Steve Gabe, Jr., 80, died Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at Atrium Health in Pineville, NC.No services are planned at this time. Mr. Gabe was born February 5, 1939 in Colorado and was a son of the late Richard S. Gabe, Sr. and Helen Adsit Gabe.He graduatedhigh school in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Gabe was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy and also retired from the Veterans Administration where he worked in maintenance. He is survived by one son, Richard Steve Gabe, III of Chester and his ex-wife, Ann McSwain, of Chester with whom he made his home.
