CHESTER: Reverend Randolph Alan ?Randy? Woods, Sr., 47, died Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Chester Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 6:00 PMThursday, November 5, 2009 at Westside Baptist Church, with Mr. R.J. Woods and Mr. Matthew Woods officiating. A native of Charleston, SC, Rev. Woods was born November 25, 1961 a son of Dr. Eugene Woods and Ruth Butler Mazyck. He was a graduate of Libertyville High School, Libertyville, IL, Boyce Bible College of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY and Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Reverend Woods was the present Pastor of Westside Baptist Church, Chester, SC and the former Pastor of Memory Lane Baptist Church, Louisville, KY, Long Ridge Baptist Church, Owenton, KY,Lando Baptist Church, Lando, SC, Cordesville First Baptist Church, Moncks Corner, SC, Jefferson First Baptist Church, Jefferson, SC and Black Creek Baptist Church, Darlington, SC. Surviving is his wife, M. Rae Woods, his mother Ruth Butler Mazyck of Mt. Pleasant, SC, his father Dr. Eugene Woods and his wife Pat of Ft. Meyers, FL, one daughter, Rebbecca Woods Cribb and her husband Rik of Mt. Pleasant, SC,two sons, Randolph Alan ?RJ? Woods, Jr. and his wife Carrie of Greenville, SC and Matthew Austin Woods and his fiancé Whitney, of Hartsville, SC; four grandchildren, Zoe Dylan Cribb, Randolph Alan Woods III, Walter Jude Cribb and Rome Aleksander Woods; one sister, Janet Woods Buckheister of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one brother Ralph Eugene Woods of Racine, WI and one cousin Sharon Hucks Foster of Mt Pleasant, SC.
