Mr. Reuben Cassels Guy, III, 55, died December 2, 2009 at his residence. The funeral service will be 3:00 PM Friday at Zion Presbyterian Church with Rev. Al Ward and Rev. Mike Shaffer officiating.Interment will be in Zion Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Born March 4, 1954 in Chester, South Carolina, Mr. Guy was the son of Mamie Hane Guy and the late Reuben C. Guy, Jr.He was a graduate of Chester High School and York Technical College.He was retired from South Carolina Department ofTransportation and also former owner and operator of Guyco Grading and Clearing.He was a member of Zion Presbyterian Church where he served as Deacon and superintendent of the Sunday School.He was also a member of the Zion Cemetery Committee. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Debbie H. Guy; one daughter, Megan E. Guy of Chester; one step-daughter, Erica S. Colgrove of Boise, Idaho and three step-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 8:00 PM Thursday at the home, 522 Hane Lane, Chester. Memorials may be to Zion Presbyterian Church, 2219 The Avenue, Chester, SC 29706.
