Reggie Lane Sherrill

Chester Mr. Reggie Lane Sherrill, 59, died Friday, November 8, 2013, at his home.A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 11, at 2:00 PM at Woodward Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Hinson officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of the the church. Mr. Sherrill was born June 16, 1954 in Huntersville, NC and was a son of the late Brillant Seawell Sherrill and Helen Ervin Sherrill.He was a graduate of North Mecklenburg High School and was owner and operator of Battery Service in Knoxville, Tenn.He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting and enjoyed spending quality time with his family.Mr. Sherrill was a member of Woodward Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School and served on several committees. He is survived byhis wife of more than 22 years, Robin L. Sherrill; two daughters, Holly M. Stotler and husband Charles of Murrells Inlet, SC and Amanda M.Sherrill and husband Josh of Midland, NC; two sons, Scott Sherrill and wife Amy of Cornelius, NC and Cam Sherrill also of Cornelius; eleven grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Sherrill and Barry Wally both of Huntersville, NC; one sister, Debbie Nelson of Huntersville, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
