CHESTER Mrs. Rebecca Ann Pardue Ivie, 78, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Chester Regional Nursing Center.A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Harry Gindhart officiating. The interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends and family from 10:00 ? 11:00 am at Bethel United Methodist Church. Born July 27, 1933 in Lancaster, SC, Mrs. Ivie was a daughter of the late Edgar Pardue and Nell Taylor Pardue.She was a graduate of Chester High School and retired from Chester Telephone Company as a supervisor of the traffic department.She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and the widow of Paul Ray Ivie. She is survived by two daughters, Nadine Ivie Fisher and husband Randy of Columbia, SC and Melanie Ivie Crouch and husband Ricky of Chester; four grandchildren, Kelly Taylor and husband Brian, Michael Crouch and wife Nina all of Chester; Lacey Fisher Segars and husband Newman of Columbia, SC and Lindsey Fisher of Charleston, SC; three great grandchildren; one brother, David Pardue of Columbia, SC and one sister, Kathleen Pardue of Chester.She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edgar Allen Pardue and Floyd Pardue.
