CHESTER: Mrs. Rebecca "Doodle" Flynn Clayton, 64, died Sunday June 28, 2009 at Providence Hospital in Columbia, SC. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at First Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. James Sanders officiating.Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Born December 2, 1944 in Lancaster, SC Mrs. Clayton was the daughter of the late Nathan and Mary Johnson Flynn.She was retired from Springs Industries and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving are her loving husband of 48 years, Charles Clayton; daughter, Becky Thompson and her husband, Chris of Chester; sons, Greg Clayton and his wife Kim of York, SC and Brian Clayton of Chester; brothers, Norman Flynn of Gilbert and Bobby Flynn of Chester; and a sister, Patsy Clayton of Chester.She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kristin Roberts and her husband Jason, Drew and Chad Thompson, Briana Clayton, and Tyler and Nicholas Clayton; and one great grandson, Clayton Roberts.
