Raymond Chester Board

Mr. Raymond Chester Board, Sr., 74, of 301 Center Street died Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at his residence. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at Barron Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Roof officiating. Mr. Board was born December 12, 1934 in High Point, NC, a son of the late James E. and Mary Elizabeth Singletary Board.He attended the schools of Chester County where he was a star athlete.He was owner and operator of Investigations Unlimited. Surviving are his three sons, Ray and Jock both of Tega Cay, SC and Mark of Alpharetta, GA; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one sister, Dorothy B. Fortner of Chester. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 Saturday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester.
