Richburg Mr. Ralph Vance Campbell, 55, died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at his home.A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Compton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 Saturday, June 22, 2013. Born July 12, 1957 in Chester, SC, Mr. Campbell was a son of Bessie Guyton Campbell of Chester and the late Virgil Campbell.He was a graduate of Chester High School and attended York Technical College in Rock Hill, SC.He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Schelgel as a mechanic. Mr. Campbell was a member of Fountain of Life Church. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of over fifteen years, Darla Beam Campbell; three sons, Scottie Campbell and his wife Iya of Hawaii, David Campbell of Lockhart, SC and Brian Revels and his wife Samantha of Chester; two daughters, Alisha Cummings and her husband Kyle of Lockhart and Kelly Revels of Rock Hill; eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Kyliegh, Breanna, Brandon, Ethan, Kaley, Rylan and Jaxson; two brothers, Claude Campbell and his wife Ann of Chester and Roger Campbell and his wife Gail of Seneca, SC; one sister, Janice Campbell of Dalton, GA and his faithful friend “Lucky”.
