Priscilla "Pete" Langley Etters

CHESTER: Mrs. Priscilla “Pete” Langley Etters, 75, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family.The funeral will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 8, 2015 at Chester Freedom Ministries with Pastor Steve Bishop officiating.The interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Friday, May 8, 2015 at Chester Freedom Ministries. Born October 8, 1939 in Chester, SC, Mrs. Etters was the daughter of the late Tom and Christine Alley Langley.She was a graduate of Chester High School and formerly employed with Springs Industries.For many years she volunteered for the Chester County Literacy Program. Mrs. Etters was amember of New Life Baptist Church. Mrs. Etters is survived by her husband of over fifty-six years Donald E. Etters; two sons, Ricky Etters and his wife Lynn and Dean Etters and his wife Angie all of Chester; six grandchildren; one great grandson; one brother, Tommy Langley, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Chester and numerous nieces and nephews.The family offers their heartfelt thanks to her caregivers, Linda Stephenson and Phyllis Durbin and also Regency Hospice of Rock Hill, SC.
