Chester: Mr. Philip Eugene Langley, 44, died Saturday, November 27, 2010 at his home.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PMTuesday, November 30, 2010 at Chester Memorial Gardens with Rev. Melvin Pressley officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PMMonday, November 29, 2010 at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC and other times at the home, 1281 Ridgeview Rd., Chester, SC. Born in Chester on December 7, 1965, he was a son of Frances Dillinger Langley and the late Ernest Eugene Langley.He graduated from Chester High School and was of the Baptist faith.He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. In addition to his mother, Frances D. Langley, he is survived by a brother, Raymond Langley and wife Angela of Chester; a sister, Laura Langley Palmer and husband Ray of Rock Hill; maternal grandmother, Lois Dillinger; five nieces; and six nephews.Mr. Langley was preceded in death by a niece, Heather Nichole Corlew.
