Chester, SC?Mrs. Pearl Eva Hancock Clack, age 88, died in Tampa Florida Sunday, December 28, 2008. Funeral service will be 4:00 PM Thursday, January 1, 2009 at First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. James Sanders officiating. Interment will be at Chester Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Clack was born in Peachland, NC January 15, 1920 a daughter of the late Cephas and Alberta Hastings Hancock andwas the widow of John Thomas Clack. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters: Joyce Helms of Chester, SC and Shirlee Harrell of Tampa Florida. seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son: John Alvin Clack, two grandsons: Tony Johnson and Harold Helms, Jr. and one great grandson: Joshua Jacobs. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 3:45 PM Thursday at First Free Will Baptist Church.
