Chester:Mrs. Pauline Johnson Wilson, 90, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at her home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, December 24, 2010 at First Church of the Nazarene with Reverend John Porter officiating.The family will receive friends Thursday, December 23, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barron Funeral Home. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Born in Blackwater, VA on January 18, 1920, Mrs. Wilson was a daughter of the late Hiram Palmer Johnson and Nettie Grace Livingston. She was the widow of Floyd Thomas Wilson. Mrs. Wilson attended the schools of Blackwater, VA, was the eldest member and a former Sunday School Teacher atFirst Church of the Nazarene andwas retired from Chester Sportswear as a custom seamstress. She is survived by one son, Tommy Wilson and his wife Peggy of Chester, SC;two daughters, Barbara ?Babs? Wilson Moore of Chester, SC and Joy Wilson Hale and her husband Mike of Murfreesboro, TN;eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grand children ; one brother, Cecil Snipes of Melbourne, FL and a special sister, Linda Wylie Crowl of Chester, SC.Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by two daughters, Virginia Wilson Black and Sybil Wilson Catoe and one granddaughter, Tiffany M. Moore, one brother Ralph C. Johnson and one sister, Phyllis McDonald.
