Mrs. Pauline Crumley Carter, 71, died Sunday, November 28, 2010 at her residence.The funeral service will be 4:00 PM Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Barron Funeral Home with Reverend Randall Runion and Rev. Ronnie Greene officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 4:00 PM Wednesday at Barron Funeral Home. Born February 20, 1939 in Banks County, Georgia, Mrs. Carter was the daughter of the late William Nelson Crumley and Nora Bethel Taylor.She was a graduate of Lewisville High School and Beaver Creek Bible Institute.She was a member of Orrs Baptist Church where she was a choir member and a Sunday School teacher. She was retired from F. Schumacher and Companyas a custom seamstress. She is survived by one son, Roydie Carter, four daughters, Jada Gwin and her husband Kevin of Blackstock, SC, Cheryl Clayton and her husband Dwayne, Angie Roof and her husband Roger all of Chester, Lucie Sims of Winnsboro, SC; nine grandchildren, Kevin Gwin, Jr, Casey Gordon, Gary Smith, Jr., Amanda Wilson, Keely Raye Smith, Lolita Fairfax, Roger Dale Roof, Jr., Renee Roof and Savanna Carter; six great grandchildren, Tyler, Gage, Callie, Claire, Ivan and Anessa; three brothers, William Crumley of Arkansas, Charles Crumley of Whitmire, SC and Steve Crumley of Union, SC; six sisters, Mary Ruth Smith of Lula, GA, Linda Hinsley of Tarboro, NC, Ethel Tucker of Laurens, SC, Ruby Lee Jones of Spartanburg, SC, Frances Kimbro of Jonesville, SC and Montene Wylie of Chester. She was preceded in death by a daughter Melissa Dawn Carter and two sisters Marie Hewell and Velma Crumley and one brother, Vernon Crumley.
