Paul Bennett, Sr. RICHBURG:Mr. Paul Alan Bennett, Sr., 45, died Friday, August 29, 2008 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2008 at Mount Prospect United Methodist Church in Richburg with the Rev. John Rumford officiating.Interment will be private. Born in Independence, Missouri on March 22, 1963, Mr. Bennett was a son of William O. Bennett and Virginia Feezell Bennett Baxter.He attended school in Chester, SC and was a millwright in heavy construction. Surviving are sons, Paul Alan, Jr. of Richburg and Jacob Lee Mixon Bennett of Chester, SC; daughters, Kay Sheets of Richburg, Amanda Haven Bennett of Chester, and Anna Marie Cook Bennett of Granite Falls, NC; father and step-mother, William and Mary Bennett of Chester; mother, Virginia Baxter of Amsterdam , Missouri; brothers, Douglas Bennett of Overland Park, Kansas and David Burdolski of Chester, SC; sister, Lisa Shrader of Chester.He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Bennett. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church and other times at 2274 Mountain Gap Road in Richburg.
